We have three different vendor types — (1) licensed vendors, (2) daily vendors , and (3) community garage sale. We recommend new vendors attend their first weekend at the Market as a daily vendor and if all goes well, sign a license the second week at the Market.

LICENSED VENDOR

  • What is a licensed vendor? Licensed vendors sign a license each season to set up in the same spot throughout the entire season. Those who sign provide payment in full or in three installments throughout the season. The majority of our vendors have signed a licensed as it is our least expensive and most convenient option.

  • How do I license a spot? To license a spot, notify our staff at cnyrma@gmail.com. Include your name and business name, phone number, items for sale, your preferred location on the Market, the date you intend to set up, and required paperwork (more info below). Our staff will prepare a license for you to sign in our Welcome Center prior to setting up.

  • What paperwork is required? All licensed vendors must email or mail insurance, tax ID #, and any additional certifications required by the NYS Department of Health or Agriculture. More details below.

  • What is the cost? License fees vary based on a variety of factors. Email cnyrma@gmail.com with your name, phone number, Market day you intend to vend, and location/shed preference.

DAILY VENDOR

  • What is a daily vendor? Daily vendors call our office on Monday to reserve a spot and receive a call from our staff on Friday to relay the stall assigned for that week. This option is for vendors who do not intend to vend weekly.

  • What paperwork is required? All licensed vendors must email or mail insurance, tax ID #, and any additional certifications required by the NYS Department of Health or Agriculture. More details below.

(2) Receive a call from our staff to confirm your assigned stall on Friday. (3) Prior to set up, pop into our to the Welcome Center to pay your daily fee and permit to vend.

  • Do I need paperwork to set up? No. The only required information is the social security number of the individual setting up.

  • What is the cost? For more information, email cnyrma@gmail.com with your name, phone number, and Market day you intend to set up.

NOTABLES

  • Can I test out the Market as a daily vendor and license a spot the following week? Yes! We recommend that new vendors attend their first week as a daily vendor and if all goes well, sign a license the second week at the Market. One daily fee and permit fee will be applied to the license after vending.

  • Can I sign a license at any time or do I have to sign at the beginning of the season? You may sign a license any time throughout our season. Licenses are not prorated.

  • What if I miss the call from your office on Friday or forget my stall assignment? Our staff is at the Market as early as 4am on Market days. Stop in the Welcome Center or call our office to address your questions or concerns.

  • What if I don’t like the spot I am assigned? Spots are assigned weekly on a first come basis. If you do not like the stall you are assigned, stop in our Welcome Center prior to setting up and ask our staff if there are any alternatives available. It’s possible a licensed or daily vendor has cancelled their reservation and you may set up in their spot. There are no guarantees however.

  • What if my org is a non-profit? Any not-for-profit interested in vending may do so free of charge once per season. Thereafter, the organization will be charged the applicable daily rate unless licensed to vend.

SET UP
YOUR
BOOTH

Market Hours

  • Gates open at 4AM. Set up begins.

  • Vendors must be in assigned stall by 6:30 A.M or forfeit stall assignment. If running late, call our office to reserve your spot.

  • Customers attend between 7AM - 2PM.

  • Vendors must be cleaned up by 4PM.

PAYMENT

  • When do I provide payment? Licensed vendors with no outstanding balance can set up immediately. Daily and garage sale vendors must stop in the Welcome Center PRIOR to set up to provide payment.

  • Where do I provide payment? Whether signing a license or providing a daily fee, all payments are submitted with our weekend staff in the Welcome Center. No monies can be collected from our staff on the actual Market. The Welcome Center is the small brick building between A Shed and the Market Commons. For directions, contact our office.

  • What forms of payment are accepted? Only cash or check are accepted. Debit/Credit is not accepted.

SET UP

  • Where do I set up? Set up in your designated stall assignment. Do not place any items outside of the designated location.

  • Where do I park? All vendors must park on the perimeter of the Market or behind the Commission Houses. Any vendor who parks on the Market will be directed to move unless an additional spot was purchased or the Market staff has approved doing so. Notably, parking closer to the retail area decreases parking space for valued customers.
